Language Information
Kirundi, also called Rundi, is a Bantu language with about 13 million speakers, most of whom live in Burundi. Kirundi is the national language of Burundi and one of three official languages, along with French and English. Kirundi is closely related to and mutually intelligible with Kinyarwanda.
Kirundi is not currently taught at Indiana University but we do have access to the archived materials listed below.
