All members of the IU community have free access to the suite of Adobe software, which includes downloaded software, mobile apps, and web-based tools. The gateway to many of the most popular Adobe tools—such as Photoshop, Audition, and Premiere Pro—is the Adobe Creative Cloud.
To get started, visit the Adobe at IU portal: https://uits.iu.edu/adobe
- In order to access most of the Adobe collection, you will need to download Adobe Creative Cloud. Creative Cloud a software hub that manages user authentication, software installations and updates, and cloud storage.
- Once you have Adobe Creative Cloud installed to your device, you will need to log in with your IU account in the form of "YourIUID@iu.edu" and authenticate via DUO.
- IU’s agreement with Adobe allows users to remain logged in on two activated devices at the same time. Once you log into a third device, you will be asked to deactivate one of them at that time. You may also visit this active devices link to view and manage your devices.
- Once logged in, you can freely download any of the Adobe apps you’d like to your local device. For help selecting apps for your projects, visit the Adobe app recommender tool.
In addition to the Creative Cloud apps, IU’s agreement with Adobe ("Adobe for Enterprise") allows you to access web tools like Creative Cloud Express, 2GB of Adobe cloud storage, Adobe Fonts, and the massive Adobe Stock image database. Be sure to explore all that Adobe offers to IU affiliates!
