Equity, Diversity, Inclusion, and Access

We conduct workshops tailored for language learning and teaching related issues and questions. We hope members of the language community feel included and valued, which fosters a supportive and communicative environment where all language instructors can advance and develop together. Our center looks forward to continuing to work with all campus units that deal with equity, diversity, inclusion, and access in different learning environments.

Accessibility at IU

Accessibility helps IU accomplish its mission to provide broad access to education. That mission includes prioritizing universal access to facilities, information, and technologies. This site provides how-to documentation and information on training opportunities for accessible content creation.

The Indiana University Office of Online Education

The Indiana University Office of Online Education (OOE) and its teaching and learning partners support IU faculty throughout the development and delivery of online courses and programs.

Center for Innovative Teaching and Learning

The Center for Innovative Teaching and Learning provides leadership and expertise that support efforts to innovate in the curricula, to implement effective pedagogies in and beyond the classroom, and to enhance student learning and engagement.

Office of the Vice President for Diversity, Equity, and Multicultural Affairs

OVPDEMA serves as an advocate to replace obstacles with opportunities, so that minority and underrepresented students, faculty, and staff find a sense of belonging at IU.

As the nation’s first and only large-scale interdisciplinary, university-based initiative, CEWIT strives to encourage and promote the participation, empowerment, and achievement of women students, faculty, staff, and alumnae in technology.

Bloomington Evaluative Services & Testing (BEST)

BEST helps IU faculty, students, and administrators with assessment, evaluation, and testing through consultation, WWW-based tools, and other services. BEST maintains the Online Course Questionnaire (OCQ) and provides machine-based scoring of tests, surveys and other evaluation instruments.
