Introduction of CeLT

Since 1959, CeLT (previously CeLTIE) has overseen the language and computer labs in Ballantine Hall, with the mission of providing the highest quality services to support language teaching, learning, and research at Indiana University.

In addition to our spaces for language teaching and learning, we also offer equipment checkout and/or facilitation, technological support services (both on-site and remotely), professional development opportunities, full-service multimedia recording studio and self-recording studio (added in 2023), and more.

Any Hoosier who is teaching or learning a language is welcome to stop by our offices or contact us by phone or email for information or support. We are more than happy to help!
