Language Information
Saint Lucian Creole is a creole based on French, mainly spoken in the Caribbean country of Saint Lucia. It is a sub-variety of Antillean Creole, spoken in other islands of the Lesser Antilles, and is highly mutually intelligible with the varieties spoken in Martinique, Dominica, Guadeloupe, Grenada, and Trinidad and Tobago.
Saint Lucian Creole is not currently taught at Indiana University, but we do have access to archived materials (listed below).
