Cape Verdean Creole

Language Information

Cape Verdean Creole is a Portuguese-based creole language spoken in Cape Verde (officially the Republic of Cabo Verde). While Portuguese is the official language of the island nation, Cape Verdean Creole is predominately spoken.

Cape Verdean Creole is not currently taught at Indiana University, but we do have access to some archived materials (listed below).
