Language Information
Luo is a group of languages spoken across a broad area in northeastern Africa, and is a part of the Western Niolotic language family. Of this group, the most common language/dialect is Dholuo, which is spoken by around 4.2 million people primarily near the eastern shore of Lake Victoria.
Luo is not currently taught at Indiana University.
