Language Information
Latvian, also called Lettish, is an East Baltic language spoken primarily in Latvia (where it is the official language). Latvian is also one of the official languages of the European Union. Latvian and Lithuanian are now the only living languages of the East branch of Baltic Languages.
Latvian is offered as an intensive online course during the summer through the Language Workshop.
