Bamileke is a group of languages spoken by the Bamileke in the western grasslands of Cameroon. The languages, which might constitute two branches of Eastern Grassfields, are from Western Bamileke: Məgaka, Ngombale, Ngomba, and the 'Bamboutos' dialect cluster of Yɛmba, Ngyɛmbɔɔŋ, and Ŋwe. From Eastern Bamileke:Fe'fe', Ghɔmálá’(Ghomala'), kwa', Nda’nda', Mədʉmba(Medumba).
Bamileke is not currently taught on the IU campus, but we do have access to archived materials of its Bafut dialect.
