Come hear from a panel of experienced language students and IU language instructors, who will share strategies for success and stories of resilience to help you thrive in your first-year language courses.
The panel will last an hour, with additional time for pizza (provided) and socializing/conversation afterwards.
The panel is composed of 10 panelists with five students (both undergraduate and graduate) from a range of programs, such as East Asian Languages & Cultures and Middle Eastern Languages & Cultures, and five instructors:
- Ayman Elbarbary, an AI from Middle Eastern Languages & Cultures
- Lindsay Giacomino, faculty from Spanish & Portuguese
- Jade Liu, an AI from French & Italian
- Yeoeun Park, an AI from East Asian Languages & Cultures
- Gulshat Safiullina, an AI from the Slavic Department and Central Eurasian Studies
This panel will be moderated by Dr. Dmitry Romashov, faculty from the Borns Jewish Studies Program.
