There is a saying, “a picture is worth a thousand words...” But how about an infographic, video, or mixed-media presentation? This workshop will introduce you to several Adobe tools for enriching your classroom activities, projects, and presentations. Both language instructors seeking improved digital literacy for teaching and staff in language departments who are involved in program/events promotion are welcome. By the end of this session, participants will have the knowledge to access and work in Adobe Express to create graphic content in a short amount of time and to utilize text prompts to create AI-generated custom images.
This workshop provides a hands-on introduction to Adobe Express, an online and mobile platform for creating spectacular infographics, flyers, worksheets, social media content, and more. Participants will also learn how to access Adobe Stock, a vast online library of professional photos, illustrations, and templates, which allows you to easily locate authentic images and media for enhancing your classroom materials via its seamless integration with Adobe Express.
With Adobe Express’s extensive library of templates, you and your students can easily transform classwork, student projects, and instructional materials into engaging digital designs. After learning the basics of Express, we will also explore Adobe’s generative AI features for creating personalized images and text styles.
Interested in learning more? Join us later in the year for an advanced seminar for individuals who have attended this workshop (or past workshops on this topic) or who have already mastered the basic of Adobe Express on their own, to learn about real-time collaboration features, QR code generation, libraries and brand collections, and other features to take your projects to the next level.
