This event is hosted by CeLCAR, CLE, CeLT, & the Language Workshop.
The Interactive Workshop for Online Language Teaching originally scheduled for Monday, August 3 has been postponed and split into two events on Thursday, August 13 and Friday, August 14 (9:30am-11am).
During the first event, the IU Language Community Micro-Teaching Mini-Conference on Thursday, August 13 (9:30 am-11 am), instructors can apply to present 10 minute micro-teaching demonstrations, where they can share their knowledge and experience, demonstrate tips, tricks, concepts, tools, and/or methodologies that they have used and find successful in the online and/or socially distanced classroom. The second event, Interactive Workshop for Online Language Teaching on Friday, August 14 (9:30 am-11 am), will be a collaborative practice studio format where participants can try out new online teaching tools as well as learn new features of tools they are already using (like Zoom and Canvas), getting assistance and feedback as needed.
